LNG Blue Corridors
Demonstration of heavy duty vehicles running with liquefied methane

Quick navigation

The LNG BC ended in May of 2018. This map has been updated until the end of the project, so probably not all current stations in Europe are depicted. To check current LNG stations availability, please reach NGVA Europe.

ENI is a major integrated energy company, committed to growth in the activities of finding, producing, transporting, transforming and marketing oil and gas. ENI will be involved in the LNG Blue Corridors Project with two Division: ENI G&P and ENI R&M. ENI G&P operates in the supply, transport, distribution and sale of natural gas. In 2010, sales of natural gas were 97.06 bcm. Sales included Eni's own consumption. ENI G&P has got about 60% of the CNG market in Italy. In the LNG Blue Corridor project ENI G&P will analyse the option of a local storage plant for LNG and would cooperate with Eni r&m to provide LNG to refuelling stations along the Italian corridor route. ENI R&M is the leading operator in refining and marketing of petroleum products in Italy. ENI R&M retail network includes about one hundred NG service stations in Italy (CODO and DODO) and about 30 stations in Central Europe. In the LNG Blue Corridor project ENI R&M is involved in the refuelling infrastructure construction and operation. It could explore the possibility of building 1 or 2 LNG + L-CNG refuelling stations, along the corridor route in the area of Northern Italy. A side activity would be the collection/elaboration/reporting of operational data.
